*that's the way frankie says it and i love it.*

on saturday morning we woke up and made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and juice. 

yummmm!

then we headed over to the chincoteague pony centere. we all knew a little bit about the legends and the wild ponies of chincoteague, and misty, but we didn't know a lot. we just kind of randomly picked this place for the girls to ride horses and choose souvies.

turns out we picked well because this is the only place that has actual descendants of the real misty. yay!

 after our souvenir shopping (wherein laura and i both bought nice hardback misty books) we headed outside for pony rides. delaney stepped right up to go first!

 i love going places and learning about the culture and significant things and people there. matt's and the girls just finished reading misty tonight, and they've had fun with that. :)
