at the beginning of may, laura and i went on a lighthouse winning weekend in virginia!
virginia has a lot of way out in the water lights that are tough to get to.

this is just to show you what this light looks like.
cause this is how close we got.
that's three miles offshore, right there, taken with papa's longest lens all the way zoomed in.
and zoomed out for some perspective.
and just to get this close of a shot, we had to drive way far out and then go ask a nice older couple to trespass on their property to get a picture. except, i guess it's not trespassing if we asked permission, right?
