the girls started art camp on monday. frankie was nervous and excited. i started prepping her a week ahead of time, telling her how much fun she'd have, and how it wouldn't be scarey at all. that day she was wishy-washy, but she did great!
big girl all ready to go!
her camp went from 9-12 and she did great every day.
it was good for her!
after we picked frankie up, we headed to the school for a science program. little miss doesn't like to walk, she thinks she needs to be carried all the time. i got her out of the parking lot and then let her pout it out.
can't see her back there?
closer up.
stubborn girls, i'm sure i don't know where they got this from. :/
it was like, a billion degrees outside! we found a shady spot on the grass and had a picnic lunch. with the breeze it wasn't too bad.
(ps - the girls had to wear outfits that could get all arted on, that's why they're dressed that way)
addie decided to see how many grapes she could put in her mouth.
i can't quite remember, but i wanna say right around 10.
the science lady was good, but the kids were loud. frankie and addie sat up front and participated a little more than last week. they have fun, they just don't always show it.
delaney dropped something, so as she climbed under the seat next to me i held my phone behind me and snap, snap, snapped.
:)
there was like, 5 minutes left, so addie somehow found that the science lady had crayons and paper. haha, frankie's crack.
poor girl has that problem a lot.
at 2:00 it was addie's turn for art camp.
to say this little artist was excited would be an understatement!
she sat down and was coloring within 10 seconds.

one of addie's girl scout leaders owns the yellow door, and we knew we already loved miss carrie, so we knew art camp would be fabulous too.
the latest installment of "take my picture, mommy!"
and now delaney's getting in on that action.
love their faces!
laney took late naps, after we got home from dropping addie off at 2, all week. one day before naps we got to take millie out. i told laney to give her a hug.
sooort of.
that night we had the sister missionaries over for hawaiian haystacks and texas sheet cake. t'was a very regional dinner. they shared a fhe message with us too. bubba worked all day, and lexi went straight from work to the beach for sydney's birthday, so we missed them. it's sad to do family things without them, but that is becoming our reality more and more.
