delaney was blessed by her daddy yesterday.
i have finally gotten smart and texted 3 friends before hand to help me remember what was said in her blessing. of course, it's taken me 5 kids, but with my last baby i finally figured it out!

these pictures were taken after 3 hours of church and no nap for either little girl. addie was totally done and frankie was holding on by a thread. oh, and lexi was going "why are we doing this? this is so weird! okay, no more pictures, this is so embarrassing!"
(there were cute boys milling through the hallways)
love my girls!
*delaney was blessed with strength and a desire to be her own person.
*to have faith
*to have the desire to love her family and know that she was wanted
*to want to have her brother and sisters and mom and dad as an eternal family
*desire to go to the temple
(and survive her brother holding her! ;)
*she was blessed to be a good example
*to know Jesus Christ lived and sacrificed for her
*with health
*with the ability to understand that God's will isn't always our will
*and with patience and peace
it was a beautiful blessing and delaney was awake but quiet and cute throughout.
i love the candid shots when people aren't ready. ;)
it was a cold day, so we came home and ate home made soups and key lime pie. we visited with the mccombs and then watched the gods must be crazy so we could see a little bit of grandpa's new home. ;) it was a good day.

that's so awesome, going to have to remember that when the new one gets blessed. I never remember ANYthing. Luckily, when K was blessed sweet Sister Rose took dictation of it all and I have a copy of that.
