sunday:
addie and i made a key lime pie for dessert.
(it was super easy and yummy and you can find the recipe here)
she chose to make it purple instead of green. :)

monday:
it snowed!
(thursday was 70 degrees, 4 days later and it snows! crazy weather!)
grandpa and i took the girls to the library and they enjoyed the huge snowflakes as we walked in.
it wasn't much, but it stuck until the afternoon.
franks enjoyed grandpa's youtube videos.
that night, we got a visit from robin, renee, and roni.
robin and lexi somehow got ahold of my phone and this fun ensued...

besties. :)
(even if frankie looks a little uncomfortable)
tuesday:
we made a big breakfast and slooooowly got ready for the day.
alexis stayed home from school to recover from her cold.
matt was able to take the day off, and he and grandpa took the girls over to the sotterly plantation.
we had never been, but even though it was closed, the girls had a fun time running around and the grown-ups had a nice visit. then they went to chick-fil-a (addie's new favorite) and target.
while the did all that, laney and i had some fun of our own.
first we went to the health dept to pick up her birth cert. unfortunately, we showed up 10 minutes before 12, and apparently everyone in that office takes their lunch at the same time, which just happens to be 15 minutes before 12.
(i'm still slightly grumpy about that, it just seems like they could stagger their lunches and/or start them at the right time???)
next up was dropping off our taxes.
(can't wait until we don't have out of state rental depreciation's and we can do our taxes ourselves again!)
then to the social security administration to get replacement cards for lex and chris.
(i haven't been able to find them for a few years...)
then, from charlotte hall, we drove over to solomons to pay for our boat storage and check things out.
(all was well)
then on to lexington park for some commissary grocery shopping.
(i cannot grocery shop with all three little girls so any chance i get to go with just 1 little girl, i take!)
delaney did great and mommy was glad to get all those super fun errands done. :)
then we had delicious reuben sandwiches for dinner.
(grandpa and matt had to go buy all the ingredients that night because while i was at the commissary i remembered to buy the sauerkraut and then forgot all the other ingredients. not to brag, but i'm soooo smart!)
tuesday:
we had pancakes for breakfast, took a walk, had a quick lesson on newfamilysearch.org, and then sent grandpa on his way around 11.
we had a great visit and miss him already.
but, we're super excited for all of his upcoming adventures!
(somone's joined the peace corps and is moving to africa in june!)
