The rest of the party

After Clay Creations, we rushed home, made taquitos and strawberries (birthday girls choice), and then rushed to the pool. After the pool I had to text all the parents because we took too long and still needed to do cake and presents.

Addie had decided on brownies with Oreos on top in lieu of cake. It was delish!

Can't get over how grown up she is!

Impossible to look good blowing out candles.

Her thoughtful friends gave her some thoughtful gifts.

She had seen all the fancy wrapping I'd done for Lexi's 20th, so she wanted some fanciness too.

Ashby gave her Pie Face, so we played many fun rounds of that, and made sure everyone got pied at least once.

They were hysterically laughing, it was so fun!

Chris had been at work, so he gave her his gift (that i bought and wrapped, and he paid me back for) later.

And that wraps up an 8-year-old birthday.
