last wednesday, before we got yet another wicked cold front, we had an amazingly wonderful, really good 65 degree day.
it was the day before the extraction (heard round the world) and i had heaps on my plate.
but i was all like, 65 degrees?
fugetaboutit!
to the park!
babes in swings, they do a body good.
it was windy, but wonderful.
yes, i did lay on the ground for this one. and i don't care who knows it.
addie made a friend and the rest of the day alternated with addie following her around (puppy dog style) and the girl ordering addie around (puppy dog style). code of the older, you know.
frankie's able to play now too. s'gonna be a good summer!
i sat her up there, then after a few pictures she wiggled her little booty and down the slide she went.
she loved it, by the by.
addie likes to buck the trend.
you buck, girlfriend.
the neighborhood came alive that day too.
i loved each and every one of 'em neighbors that day. every single one.
it was like in the movies, you know, where everyone in the whole neighborhood is outside.
washing the car over here, riding their bikes over there, jogging, and playing basketball and pushing strollers and visiting.
all of us enjoying the (brief) spring preview.
and that was the amazingly wonderful really good day.

Sounds like a great day! I can't wait for it to warm up here so we can spend some time at the park!
for starters, addie's little friend is g-l-a-m-o-r-u-s! but then again, so is addie in those awesome glasses. i think getting on the ground for the fwankie picture was well worth it.
