Frankie was excited for a day out to celebrate Adeline’s birthday. She got up early, at her normal time, but instead of drawing or reading in her room, she got right to work. But first, her first id. She asked me if she could buy things with it, or if it was just her picture. We had a good talk.
Sarah picked her up at 11 and off they went shopping. It’s cute that they get along so well.
Christian stopped by to show us his new ‘do. He got a perm. 🤦♀️ I promised him I could make his hair curly, but he went the perm route. It’s... different.
It’s not the worst, but Delaney showed what she thought about it. And don’t mind the no pants look, clothing has been optional with her lately.
These two got lunch and shopped till they dropped. Frankie came home with all sorts of fun treasures.
Delaney and papa went on a Find a Grave mission, and D found one of the requests. A man in his 50’s that passed away in January from covid. 😔 They were both so excited to have actually found someone and be able to help. Service is so rewarding!
Alli ordered pizza to celebrate us leaving for three weeks? Not really, just to make life easier. She got Domino’s, so Delaney suggested we play dominos while we eat Domino’s. So we did.
I is did laundry and we’re mostly all packed. We’re packing light because - 1 - we have to pay for baggage, and - 2 - we will probably just mostly be at their house enjoying babies. We don’t leave tomorrow till 1, so we’ll have an easy morning finishing up and weighing suitcases to make sure we didn’t pack too much. I did have to get on Addie for attempting to pack 12 books and a safe disguised as a book in her backpack. 🙄 I know they overpack and have been prepping them for days, but it still came down to 12 books +1. Lexi has a library card and there’s a library on base, so it’s not like she’s going to de deprived. Girlfriend is crazy.
