We sooo wanted to get a weekend away while lexi and cade were visiting. But one weekend was consumed with dance recitals, and the other with Matt's Navy career. We even thought about a midweek trip, but just couldn't make it work. We settled for a day at the temple. We started with baptisms and were able to do grandma Clayton, aunt jerri, and moms sister she never met, Claudia. We did their baptisms, confirmations, initiatories, and finally an endowment session. It was a wonderful day and we would have loved to cap it off with a sealing, but we had to hustle back south to make it to Frankie's recital.
Lexi and cade were rockstars and got the girls all ready and to the auditorium early.
Frankie took a tap/ballet combo class and loved it!
They danced to a classic ballet song (that I frankly don't remember) and also to Shake it Off, ala T. Swift. It was so cute! Lexi loves T. Swift, soooo you know.
She was cute and nervous but did such a great job!
And check out all those ballet poses!
Cade dropped the crew off and went to pick up like a million chicken nuggets and large fries. Then they couldn't eat all of them, so we got to smuggle them into the auditorium. C'est la vie!
Frankie was all like "keep snapping! I got poses for days!"
We had two carpool buddies in our neighborhood, but we only booked up with one for pics.
Beautiful ballerinas.
And the crew on the first night of the recital weekend.
Love this crew! Only missing one precious Bubba, but I called cade Bubba at least half of the time, so that made up for it a little bit.
