The schoeny's got dogs! I guess Alexis and cade had taken Addie with them to mc's, and mc's were watching the dogs, and I got this picture to show for it. She looks like a skunk!
Addie and Frankie had their dance recitals on different nights, franks on Friday, and Adds on Saturday. That was pretty annoying, but it made it a little more palpable that the recitals were really good! The dancers were fun and full of energy, and just all around excellent.
Addie took a tumbling class. They danced and tumbled to Uptown Funk, which is why her costume was kind of funky.
"Addie, do another dance pose!"
"I got nothing."
"Hmmmmm."
This works.
By the end of the second night of recitals, Delaney was pretty done. They were really good, but also really loooong, like 3-4 hours.
They both danced their first year at Gracie's Guys and Gals. Then their recital was all the way across the bridge at patuxent high school.
After the show! Lexi and cade were good sports about spending so much of their weekend at their sisters recital. Have I mentioned how long it was?

She's coming out!
She didn't always love going to dance, but she stuck with it and I think she really did enjoy it. And the culmination of all those weeks was really fun and so good. Left all of us feeling satisfied with the whole experience.
