I hear "It's coronation day!" whenever it's a special day. So say that "It's wedding celebration day!"
It feels weird calling it a wedding day since they're already married, so wedding celebration day it is!
These pictures are a direct result of me thinking, hmmmm, I haven't taken any pictures lately, so I'd walk around and capture all the scenes I could see.
So here they are.
It was a really easy, low stress day. The other half of our group got their nails did and the rest of us showered and prepped and held babes.
The real mvp right here! Both of them I guess. I am soooo thankful my kids and their spouses really love eachother. I'm not naive enough to think that could never change and we've got 3 more spouses coming in some day, but for right now, it's pretty heavenly.
Amy's gift to Lu was the wedding cake, and then Max, who has taken cake decorating classes, decorated it for her. He did a great job!
The ceremony consisted of Lexi and Damian exchanging super sweet vows, then we did family pictures, then dinner was a delicious empanada truck that was so fun. We had several empanada options, fries, and mexican street corn and they were all declious.
Then this is the one picture I took of the event and it's a dance floor action shot.
A few pictures I've gotten sent to me:
We love our baby brother! 👆
I took over keeping an eye on the boys so Lexi and Damian could have fun. I went inside at one point and found Emmett in the bathroom and Carter in the butlers pantry eating candy. 😆 So then I upped my game and that also accounts for the lack of pictures.
These two have a cute relationship. Damian doesn't have strong family support, so our family has stepped up and wrapped him in our arms and with our love. We're a good motley crew.
I am so happy we got family pictures with everyone since we've got 3 newbies - Damian, Henners, and Ruby. I can't wait to see the real pictures!
I love these two. I love the home they are creating and the boys the are raising.
They are so good and kind and lovely.
So grateful to celebrate them!
