Papa picked up Frankie and Alli and they went and got donuts for everyone. And we’re all properly smitten with Emmi-Bob.
He’s such a funny, silly guy.
Before Matt went to work, he wrestled with Tenkor. They really love each other. Tenkor brings him her baby and then they play, play, play. It’s pretty cute.
We put Em down for a nap and went to the Amish grocery store off Friendship School Road. I’ve been there once before, but this time was much more expensive than I remembered it being. 🤷♀️ I bought a large container of local honey (it wasn’t cheap, but I don’t want corn syrup instead of honey from the grocery store anymore) and then, a gallon of fabric softener and dish soap each for $5, so that was pretty good. We wrote a check for our purchases and hit Aldi for the rest of our list.
This was right before nap time. He was sad and tired, but was willing to watch a little Coco Melon before his nappy.
The girls went to play with the Aina’s after lunch. About 30 minutes after they left, it started pouring down rain. There was no lightning though, and the girls all love playing in the rain, so 🤷♀️
And Miss D. got to give Emmi hi post nap bottle.
We got 2 baby pools from a neighbor and everyone has been loving them. D and Ellie played in then post-rain.
And a pre bedtime snack. He’s just the cutest.
Addie has become quite the writer. She has several stories in the works at all times. She and her friends share stories on google docs and take turns writing. For my birthday she gave me a 25 page story called The Colorizer. It was super fun and creative, and just a little bit hard to understand because there were so many characters each with a ton of details. That’s what editors are for, right?

Games today included Dominoes, Solitaire, and Scattergories.
The girls always come up with fun answers and when we finished, they both said it was super fun.
As a side note, as we were heading to the Amish store we saw papa walking on Hollywood/Leonardtown Rd with his camera. How random. 🤗
