Palmyra pageant

Back to 2019. 

I think this was actually before we ate pizza, not that it matters...

We hiked up the hill cumorah. 

The kids ran around a lot and we didn’t have any fights or tears. At least not that I can remember. 

One of my MD besties. Love this lady and her amazing family. 

We staked our chairs for our huge group. 

These girls were ready to wait there and hold our seats. 

Note from 2020 - we miss our friends!



We took the crew for a walk around the temple. 

Requested. 

They were perfectly reverent and we never had to remind them to be quiet or calm. (wink wink)  

Between dinner and pageant it started to rain. That meant our seats would be wet. We traveled with beach towels though, so we busted them out and they did a decent enough job of seat drying. 

We had lots of time to mingle and meet all the actors and everyone was so friendly and fun. 



Different adults took different concoctions of kids around to the bathroom and to meander. 

I think we even had to wait in line for this one. 

Darrow cousins played games and visited. 

This was a first for me and I was super excited!

It was a beautiful evening!

Delaney was inspired by the hairdos. 

It did not disappoint. It was so well done and the spirit was so strong. This year is supposed to be the last year of this pageant and I was so grateful we got to see it when we did. Who knows what will happen this year too. 

It was an awesome and busy day and we were all pooped! Everyone slept well!
