From there we crossed the long, long bridge to Washington to catch the 2 southernmost lights. That bridge was nothing to sniff at, it was crazy.
I'm actually not sure where this is, but it's a nice picture, so.
Cape Disappointment was to be a hike! We were again behind schedule, and needing to hurry.
So off we went!We left smilin' Jack to fend for himself as we hiked.
It was far'ish, I can't remember how far. But we finally made it to this pretty striped girl.
Across the cliff to that other building is the Lewis and Clark Historical Society where the CD stamp is.
If Oregon lights were pristine, I'm not sure what you'd call Washington lights.
Kinda sad comes to mind.
This one is owned and operated by the coast guard, and we couldn't go inside.
But we got as close as we could.Sad at her condition and to not be able to climb.
But happy to be there at all.
This sits on another gorgeous cliff. Beautiful area.
We made the long hike back to the interpretive center and then were able to take pictures of the pretty lady from the other side.
Same old story, magnets, stamp, and we're off! We had one more light to catch and not a lot of time to catch it in!
