Monday summer fun

Frankie likes to channel her inner zen before bed.

I've killed another one. Time of death - 8:22.

We went to Dorsey park, or "bubba's baseball park" if you are Laney, on Monday and got another plate rubbing for our summer adventure from the library. After that we headed to the magic show the library puts on at the girls elementary school. Frankie SO wanted to be chosen as a helper, and as soon as I left to the bathroom, she was!

She got to pick a handkerchief and put it in a bag, or some thing. Magic show, you know.

It was a really cute show. And Frankie got a Reggie buck for participating.

Delaney also wanted a picture. ?

When we got home, Laney took a nap and then I set the girls to some slave labor before we hit the pool.

They still love going. It's gotten so easy to take them this summer, I could probably even take a magazine and actually read it.

We got kicked out around 7:30 because of ligthning, which was no big deal because they close at 8. I had told Addie we'd invite friends to have a root beer float party, so when it started raining, Addie got excited. Darlaina agreed to stay, and then Laura texted that she'd bring over a pot of spaghetti sauce and it was a party! Root beer float party = summer bucket list.

And the parentals love root beer floats too.
