8/27-8/29

No pictures and no recollection of  8/27-8/28. I know Adi had an appt and then we went shopping. Adi and I had the best summer together. We really enjoyed spending time together when the girls went back to school.

On Saturday I made an Alice in Wonderland Disney dinner. And tulip deviled eggs are hard to make. 🤣👆🏼
Carter came over and man that is a weird movie.
And one of the most involved dinners because of all the things to make. Chicken salad sandwiches, cream cheese and cucumber tea sandwiches, deviled eggs, cupcakes, cookies, ham and cheese sliders, and fruit skewers.

It was all super tasty though!

Delaney has kept in contact with her FSY friends and one of them invited her to a dance up in Oakton in northern Virginia.
Delaney doesn’t usually want to do a lot of social things, and she wanted to go, and she’s the lucky little baby of the family with old parents that have time, so we made a date night out of taking her.
It was a western theme and she went all in. We weren’t sure she’d want to stay the whole time, but we took a gamble and went to the worlds most expensive movie theater (our cheap little country bumpkin selves were so surprised at the costs!) and had a lovely date night.
Thankfully our precious little sour patch kid had a blast and it was a great night for all of us.
