To Florida we go

Leaving at 11:30 - what what! Better late than never.

One of the sisters scratched adi and she had a big red scab on her cheek. Sisters.

We ❤️ welcome centers.

It’s been way too long since I’ve been on a real lighthouse trip.

That jolly green is a sturdy girl and so am I!

D in the back row, Frankie in the middle, and Adi up front. This is their favorite way to travel.

We sent this goofy pic to dad and he promptly posted it on Facebook.

South of the border love.

Why do I want to break a chip off Delaney’s sombrero and dip it in salsa inside the bowl of it?

I feel like we’ve taken this lame picture before, but what are you gonna do with a giant fly swatter?

We didn’t stay long, but we did stay long enough to climb some cacti.

Buc-ees! And do you see what I see? An empty parking lot! It was dead up in there! Weirdest thing ever!

It was actually a perfect travel day, no traffic, no slowdowns, nobody at buc-ees.

The hotel was a bit of a fiasco because at the original hotel I booked at the pool was out of order. We looked and looked but couldn’t tell if the pools were indoor or outdoor for half the listings and it was all confusing. Anyways, we found a Marriott and it probably wasn’t the smartest move, but my dad is generous and it was fine. We swam for a long time and moving my body after a long day of driving feels so good!

🤷‍♀️ After swimming we made a late night target run for brekkie and some road trip snacks.

I had a quick presidency meeting Tuesday morning and then we hit the road.

We stopped at the same gas station we stopped at last year, completely on accident and it was bright bright.

We made it to papas and it was off to dinner at Olive Garden where we had the cutest little server who was working on her nursing degree and has twin girls and also foster’s kids. Papa left her a nice tip and it was a nice night.
