we looked back through this here blog to try to find pumpkin patch pictures of yore and couldn't find but one or two. So I will clearly lable, thankyouverymuch.

on colombus day we headed to the pumpkin patch. I was so glad it worked out and I was able to take all 3 girls. matt ended up working so it was just the gals. several groups of friends met us and it was a nice day.

it had rained all weekend, so the ground was a little mushy, but not too bad. except for the corn maze, that was pretty bad.

we got there around 11 and stayed till almost 5. we love our cute pumpkin patch.

no strollers in the corn maze this year! even though laney petitioned for it. ;)

I tried to get pictures at each lookout, but they weren't great.

oooh well.

I also thought this would be a good shot, but turns out not at all.

but I was able to wrangle her for a picture. it was a nice day with just a touch of chill.

meow you see me! if you look closely you can see my feet where they sank to fully covered in the mud of the corn maze. just a little gross.

happy 4 year olds are the best.

this huge jack-o-lantern was a new addition this year. it would have been a cute picture, but with 11 8-and-under it took about 83 minutes just to set the picture up and by the time one was ready, another 2 were wandering. whatevs.

picking pumpkins is half fun and half frustrating.

lanes didn't pick until the very end. she just couldn't quite get it together.

addie picked the long stemmed variety.

and lanes agonized.

these silly bunnies caused some drama. there were signs around that said not to pick the bunnies up, and sometimes addie obeyed, and sometimes she did not. and when she did she was sad that other people did not. uuuuhhhhhhh.
