My little country girls were so impressed with our swanky hotel! Who'da thought I'd ever have little country girls? But after almost 9 years of small town living, we are definitely bringing up some country kids. (:
Our first stop (after our room) was the pool!
They were a little excited.
The water was cold, so daddy got in and I observed, warmed, and assisted with potty breaks as needed.
Daddy and daughters.
After about an hour, this one was cold and ready for a warm bath.
After a few minutes, Matt brought the rest of the animals and we got everyone bathed and jammied up right quick cause there was more fun on the way for these country girls!
Ps - we had an awesome view. You can't see the cute girls, but we were on the 30th floor and we could see the whole city! Laney looked out the window and said "I see a yellow pizza car!" It was a taxi, but little bumpkin has never seen a taxi before. She has seen a pizza delivery car though. (:
Because I married a gentleman, he went and got the car from the garage each time we left, while I stayed with the hillbillies. We tried the fancy orange infused water from the lobby. Addie hated, Frankie loved, and lanes was ambivalent.

When I looked online for things to do in Baltimore (like, on our drive to baltimore! #slacker) I found out that they have a classic drive-in movie theater, and it was opening weekend! So we grabbed the girls some dinner and headed to Bengies! I read the rules several times, because they were pretty strict. You are not allowed to bring any food or drinks or take any pictures. If you do, you'll be escorted off their property. I was thinking they were pretty serious, because they said it in bold several times on their website. So of course all I wanted to do was take pictures!
But I had to do it covertly, which resulted in pictures like this:
They even have old cartoons and before the movie they make you get out of your car for the star spangled banner. It was so fun!!! We saw Paddington, which we'd already seen, but how can you pass up a drive in movie!
And this:
Laney had fallen asleep, so I took Frankie in for popcorn and a treat, and Matt took addie in for her treat. It is such a cool place! It reminded me sooo much of drive-ins we went to in my childhood! They even have old cartoons and before the movie they make you get out of your car for the star spangled banner. It was so fun!!! Ps - this pic was totally snagged from the Internet.
That night we talked about how we were just like the Ingalls family, all sleeping in one room. And we decided we wouldn't have made very good Ingalls, because some of us had a hard time getting to sleep. Finally, zzzzzzz.
And after the Easter bunny came. (:

Super fun first day of what we decided would be Laneys birthday trip. (:
