no, not a baby, but a fully painted basement!
matt had monday, jan 2nd off, (the big kids had to go back to school because they had missed so many days because of hurricane irene) so we made a goal to finish painting the basement that day! we started just after 6:45, after christian left for school, and then matt didn't finish till after 6 that night, it was a long day! i helped paint till the babies woke up, and then we brought them downstairs with us, where they played nicely for over an hour, and then started getting whiny for breakfast. so needy! ;) i kept them upstairs playing until naptime.

our day:
dress-up and doll houses and strollers and babies.
during naps and movie time, i helped where i could.
all day, the little girls were very interested in daddy's progress. especially when he got to the stairs!
i love the color and am so glad it's done!
the boys busted the wall at christian's birthday party last year, so it took us less than a year to fix the wall and paint the whole basement.
not too shabby, right?! ;)
