A Frankie Day

We had such a fun Saturday with our #4! It was Autism Awareness Day at the game so there were tons of tables set up giving freebies, so it was fun to walk around and partake of chocolate. We got to meet Elizabeth, who is in charge of Educators Rising and giving scholarships for the national competition in June. We got some good information from her, but Frankie was bummed not to meet anyone else. That was one of her reasons for wanting to go to the game.

It was a really good game! The Towson Tigers were losing to the Campbell Camels most of the game, but late in the second half, because they don’t have quarters? our mighty Tigers slowly pulled ahead. And just look at this adorable tiny chapstick I scored! It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!
At halftime they recognized all the groups in attendance and they said some nice things about the 10 Educators Rising winners in attendance.
Our cute rising educator!
So in the last 2 and a half minutes of the game we finally tied it up! I have to say though, I did root for the home team, but kinda wanted to root for the Camels. I loved their leading player, Butka, and thought their coaches were nicer and their players overall better. Also, maybe all college games are like this, but they were crazy loud during the Camels free throws and when we were playing defense. I don’t dig that stuff, I like sportsmanship. 🤷‍♀️
Frankie has been asking to go to Raising Canes for a few years now, and we don’t have one near us, and whenever we’ve passed one it’s never been convenient. So we finally made it happen and we were all happy with our food. I think just as good as Chicfila and Frankie thinks it’s better. It feels right that we had Canes today because my mom really liked it and tomorrow will be 4 years since she’s been gone. So this one was for her.
