Today was a hookie from school day. We went shopping and the girls were able to pick gifts for Matt - ties and socks, Addie picked her Giving Tree gift, and the rest of their sibling gifts. Frankie picked this globe for Cade, and Lu have it the green light soooo. And I *think* I’m done with Christmas shopping! I’ve got stockings and Matt and all 6 kids. Nieces and nephews and teachers and miscellaneous others. Next up is meal planning and shopping, and then we’re that much closer!
Today was the hangar party at Matt’s work. The girls love to get face paint and fly the simulators crazily and make daddy sick.
D was a unicorn Rudolph. Whatever else we can say about her, she is a creative soul.
They had pizza and bounced in the giant bounce house.
What a guy.
Face paint means bath day. And the girls love the portrait setting.
It was a warm day today and our grass is getting longer and we had lots of leaves lining our lawn. Matt had the girls help him rake them up. We wrapped all the presents we bought and had a nice, quiet evening.
We’ve also had workers here today and yesterday. They put up the baseboards and laid tile today. We are SO excited!
And a tile pad in front of the back door, that will also be replaced. I’ve always hated the idea of a glass door down in the basement. Can’t wait to get rid of it tomorrow!
After baths we were eating a nice ziti dinner (zitti if you ask Addie) when we heard a commotion at our door. The Girl Scouts of LG! Our silly little Girl Scout didn’t want to go carol, and I’ve been too tired to force her. (My new theme)
We read bunches of Swallows and Amazons and cleaned rooms and Matt put together our last 2 table chairs and it’s been a lovely day.

What a complete day. It's nice to have so many helpers when you're raking a lawn. Christmas shopping done!! You're doing well. And finally seeing progress in the basement. I agree, a glass door downstairs seems to be asking for trouble.
Those hanger parties look like a lot of fun.
Looking good, Curly Girl!!
