Last week Matt had the opportunity to attend a conference for work in WV. He doesn’t often go out of town for work, so it was exciting for him. He went hiking at Big Schloss a couple times.
He works so hard and supports us in all of our busy endeavors, so I was glad he was able to enjoy some down time, and WV is beautiful.
This little first grader is a hard working lady. She’s so easy with school work. She knows all her sight words for the 1st quarter (probably for the year) and does her math homework quickly and by herself. It’s fascinating to see how differently the kids learn and the different ways they are smart.
Miss D also got to be on the morning news for SOAR’ing behavior with some classmates, and Mrs. G posted this adorbs screenshot on Dojo. 😍
Also, reading buddy cuteness. So glad all the girls love school.
And one more for good measure. I love Class Dojo.
I had grand plans for my time while Matt was our of town. I was going to put the girls down to bed and paint my heart out, but then not so much. I was so tired that I ended up tidying up and then working in my room each night. Not the most productive, but everyone survived (barely, but we’ll get to that later). Frankie did Gymnatsics on Wednesday and actually landed several cartwheels on the beam.
D and I went birthday shopping for Sephie while the girls were decorating Halloween cupcakes and cookies at A Days. And it was also Res Ribbon Week, but our themes were pretty lame this year, we didn’t even have my fav ‘crazy hair day.’ Thursday was career day, so Frankie twinned with her teacher - black pants with flat black slip one, button down shirt, and bun. The eyeball cupcake was my fav.
This takes us to early Thursday. Duh, duh, duh...
