working backwards.

addie and danica are still great friends - hallelujah. ad's went over to her house yesterday to help build her australian snowman. danica's mom is keeping a log of their days in america, so i stole this cute shot from her.

after dropping off all the friends at the airport on sunday, i drove up to north ogden to stay the night at shelly's. mindy came over and we visited that night. gotta get the pictures!

southern maryland got dumped on while i was gone. they even had a snow day on monday! i hated to miss it. alecia watched the girls again and everyone had fun. matt took the girls out a few times too. only a dad would tie a bandana around little d's cute face.

i'm so grateful that matt has always been good with all of my crazy gallivanting. and that i have great friends to swap kids with. one of my neighbors asked how super dad was doing, and i thought, he is pretty great, isn't he? happy kids and happy hubby.

i missed these 3 crazies.

i bought lexi-lu a ticket on the good ol' salt lake express, so we dropped her off in the morning. we had such a great weekend and i'm so thankful for these two besties of mine for coming to help!

that's a lively party right there! we were in our room every night by 8, which is just the way i like it!

on our girls trips we always go to the movies and get mani's pedi's, two of my favs. we missed out on the pedi's since it was so snowy, but we did see two excellent movies - hidden figures and passengers, and i loved them both.

christian gave me his cool charging phone case, which i love, but it's really hard to take a picture because the buttons are so stiff. i was having a tough time getting us all focused and hilarity ensued. love these girls.

 

we also ate at cheesecake factory, another fav. for all of my other trials, i have been blessed with the most amazing friends. these two are just a few of many. 19 years going strong with these ladies! it's not always easy and it's never convenient, but i'm so glad we've continued to make the time to see each other each year.
