Quarterback club and cheer banquet

We went to Lexi's second and final cheer banquet with the quarterback club. It's really an awesome organization that has raised $44,000 for the football and cheer programs at LHS. That's a lot of $ and I'm sure a lot of work.

Last year the cheer ladies didn't really have anything to hand out or awards to announce, and the football players did, so cheer looked bad. This year brandy made that right.

Lexi got a personalized small picture book and a senior banner just for being a senior cheerleader, and then a pair of sweatpants for being chosen as only one of three girls to make the nca team. She had the opportunity to cheer all over, but most notable in London! The cost was around $3000, which I told her we'd  split, but she decided against it.
The banquet was at the hvfd. They served cold roast beef and chicken. It was banquet food, so you know.

Reagan, the cute cheer manager said a few words and all the girls cheered for her. For all the mean things attributed to cheerleaders, these girls have been very sweet to Reagan. it's been really neat to see.
Her last cheer coaches! Coach brandy and coach robin.
And one last one with 'da girls. I really do miss going to the football games each week. It was fun to see all the girls again. It was also fun to see the players in a nice, light atmosphere, some of them even smiled, next which they never do during the games.
It was a good time, even though I got totally ditched by my date here. Apparently there was a kid table/grown up table rule I didn't know about. Good thing I've spent many a hot and cold hour with the other parents, so it was still a good time.
