Wednesday

(i started this post on weds evening)

Tonight I titled this post "Tuesday," and then remembered that Christian is off at scouts and that means Wednesday. Funny how easy it is to lose track of days!

our first full day at home.

houston, we have a thumb sucker!

orrrrrr, maybe just a finger sucker.

matt had a meeting at work this afternoon, so he headed off to work after feeding the girls breakfast. christian had texted me sunday night and asked if he could stay home on monday to help with the girls. i told him thank you so much, but it would be more helpful for him to wait until dad had to go back to work, so he was ready and willing to stay home and help today.

the girls hung out in their undies/diapers most of the day. i'm not sure why, but we weren't going anywhere so i rolled with it. matt's employer sent us this beautiful boquet. and christian was holding delaney so she could be in the pic, but he didn't want to be. :)

addie and frankie are loving having all of these pretty flowers around! here is frankie "sniffing" them. ;)

christian was good and helpful. sometimes he was delaney's bodyguard, other times he helped with the girls, and i even asked him to clean up after lunch, which he did. he's a good boy. :) alexis got home late from cheer, so she stayed home with us that evening. the little girls are adjusting nicely to having baby home. and matt has been so helpful and sweet.

and that was our exciting first full day at home.
